This big mug (350ml) is thrown in at grey clay with spots (Sorring 12684). The lower 1/3 is facet cut. The glaze is burgundy red (Sorring 1362) and the rim is, even if looks green, dipped in slate grey ( Sorring 1318).
Glaze test
Ond layer tenmoku 1347 from Sorring and a second layer of crystal white 1310 from Sorring. It is run at bit.
The plant hanger is fired upside down.

One dip in sea blue 5552 from Sorring and a second dip in white 1310 from Sorring.
The glaze tends to run. Please note the beautiful crystallizations on the outside.

Trying som glazes
4002 antique gold from Sorring on a white clay and with a little pattern,
4022 kosmo from Sorring, was expected to be a dark blue, but it turned more green out at was a very running glaze. Happy there was a biscuit below.
1342 bluegreen from Sorring. look how beautiful it break to other colors on the edges.
inside is 2494 light old rose from Sorring, and outside is 2515 dark old rose from Sorring.
This one is funny, the first dip was 5489 greygreen from Sorring and the second dip was graphite grey 4082, and look how it turned out beautiful in black and seablue.
Experiments with oxids
A vase where I have pressed leafs and herbs in the wet clay. After the first firing, I have played with som different oxids (chromoxid, ionoxid, copperoxid) ind the marks from the plants and finally I have doused with flax yellow 1349 from Sorring.
After the first firing, this mug i decorated with Copper oxid with a fan brush, ocher , chrom oxid and ion oxid with a larger brush. I have dipped it in old rose glaze 2494 from Sorring and finaly som brush strokes with ion oxid and ocher,
Patinated gold
This mug is glazed in black with patinated gold, it was difficult to take at picture that shows the color.
The glaze is 42315 from Silicanordic burned to 1235 degrees.

More breakfast bowls
This bowl is about 4,5 dl and is made in clay 933 from Goerge&Schneider. The glaze i copper green 1373 from Sorring.
This bowl is also about 4,5 dl, it is made in recycled clay and it turns out in a grey color. The glaze is an old earth glaze, but I have tried to burn it to stoneware (1235 degrees) and it turned out very nice, it split up in dark blue sides and turquise green bottom.
The color it had on a earthenware firing is on the picture below.
